Wedding updos with beautiful sticks accessories

If you have enough length to form a basic pony tail that's all you need for a few of the wedding updos we will feature.
This updos requires shoulder-length or longer hair.
Make a basic loose ponytail. You may use an elastic band to secure the ponytail, if desired.

Twist the entire length of the ponytail.
Coil the twist around itself, to begin creating the bun.
You may dampen your hair in order to help keep shorter pieces from popping out.
Tuck the end under the outside coil. Hold the bun in place with one hand and using the other hand, push one hair stick straight into the outside coil until the tip touches your head.
Change the direction of the stick and weave it up and out the other side of the coil.
Use a second hairstick, poked through the bun in the same way but from the other side, so that the sticks make an X. This will hold the bun securely in place.

Alternative options for longer hair and sticks accessories.
If you do not have waist-length hair, try this style using only your crown section of hair. Curl, crimp or straighten shorter, loose strands to achieve a glamorous look.

This hair style requires shoulder-length or longer hair. The Inside-Out French Braid is just like a basic French braid, but instead of crossing the left and right strands over the middle strand, you cross the left and right strands under the middle strand. This braid will take practice, but keep trying.
Add your favorite hair accessory, wherever you like, for decoration.

This hair style requires waist length or longer hair. If your hair is shorter than this, we provide an alternative option at the end of this tutorial.

Good luck! And remember - practice makes perfect.

Short Hair Updos Classic Style

If your hair is too short for a true wedding updo, you can use accessories to achieve the look.
Small clear pinch clips with white flowers attached.

Shorter hair gets fresh, modern texture.

Short Hair Updos Casual Style

This day’s wedding updos is always in fashion and even if you have short hair.
Short hair can be dressed up almost as easily as long hair. You may have already begun to let your hair grow in anticipation for these important events. Even one half inch of extra hair will help in creating a dressier style.
Imagination can change your short, every day hairstyle into a dressier ‘do as appropriate for wedding as any longhaired updos.
You will also need sparkly clips and barrettes and possibly even spray hair glitter.

Try using these suggestions as a basis for wedding updos.
If you normally wear a chin-length, layered, bob, pull the top hair – everything above the top of the ears— to the back of your head. Fasten the hair with a narrow clip or barrette so that the ends stick out. They will be just long enough to fluff and curl around the fastener. Arrange the curls to show parts of an ornate fastener or cover a plain one.Use a small amount of hair gel or hair wax to slick back any stray hairs so that the style looks very sleek and sophisticated. All the hair from your ears down is combed smoothly, close to the back of your head. Allow this hair to either flip up slightly or to curve under.

Try this idea for very short, layered hair. After shampooing and using your favorite mousse or hair gel, dry each side of the back toward the center. If your hair is long enough, twist the center under and fasten with a decorative hair clip or barrette. If very short, use hair gel to slick it toward the center, arrange the ends into a fold at the center and allow it to dry. Any hair that does not want to go to the center should be combed down and into a slight curl, held in place with gel. The remaining hair can be curled with a curling iron and arranged in fluffy curls. Separate the curls with a small amount of hair wax. Remember that special updos often require the use of more styling products for control.

For a quick and easy solution, look in department stores for add-on hair. This comes in a variety of styles but the easiest to use is a cluster of fluffy curls. Simply pull your hair back as smoothly as possible and fasten with bobby pins. Then fasten the add-on hair in place, covering the pins.Any hair that falls out around the edges can be left to fall down on your neck in curls.

With so many options and decisions to make here are a few options that could help you. There are two types of brides:

Hair brides: She prefers the focus to be the hairstyle and the ornamentation. She will talk more about the hair and we will discuss what best complements her features, gown, and the ambiance of her wedding. One or two trial runs will be done and suggestions for wedding veil and bridal headpieces will be best to keep in mind. Many hair brides prefer to simply place the wedding veil behind the Updo and remove it at the reception. Some do not want a wedding veil at all! The hair bride can't wait to whip off that veil and get down to a good time!

Wedding veil brides:
It’s a veil bride when she tells that she wants to keep the wedding veil on at the reception. So she has to choose the best one to complement and balance the gown and face.
Veil brides' tastes vary with options such as full wedding veils, edging, ornamentation, long wedding veils, multiple layers and blushers. The hair may be secondary; only necessary to support the wedding veil. Or she may have short hair. Veil wearers beware! A full wedding veil on top will keep falling forward all evening as table visits call for leaning over. Also with each hug (and hundreds will be given) the wedding veil will be yanked. It will also get in the way of dancing and I have seen brides pull at it all night, as the netting gets caught on any beading. After being educated most brides do consider removing it and I help show them that option.
